Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
- From X: the public text of the post you ask Lorentz to check, your X user ID and handle, and the bot mention metadata (tweet ID, conversation ID, timestamps). Provided by the X API.
- From you (paying users): email address and Stripe customer ID, returned by Stripe Checkout. We do not store card numbers; Stripe does.
- Service telemetry: request counts, model latencies, error logs. Pseudonymous; tied to your X user ID for quota enforcement, not to your name.
2. Third parties we share with
When you trigger a fact-check, the post text is sent to the AI observers required for your tier. We do not augment that text with your identity:
- Anthropic (Claude)
- OpenAI (GPT)
- Google (Gemini)
- DeepSeek
- OpenRouter (if used as a routing proxy)
- Stripe (billing only)
- X / Twitter (to read mentions and post replies)
Each provider has its own privacy policy. Where supported, we opt out of provider training on submitted data.
3. How long we keep it
- Fact-check results: retained as long as the public result page exists at
lorentz-ai.com/check/…. You may request takedown of a specific result. - Logs: 30 days, then deleted.
- Billing records: retained as long as required by tax law (typically 7 years in most jurisdictions).
- Account deletion: on request we delete your X user ID mapping, quota counters, and billing pointers (Stripe records governed by Stripe).
4. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal data we hold about you. We respond within 30 days. Submit requests by emailing the address below from the address linked to your Stripe account, or by DM from your X account.
5. Cookies
The public site uses functional cookies only (e.g. session for the customer portal). No analytics or advertising cookies.
6. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has used the Service, contact us and we will delete their data.
7. International transfers
Lorentz is operated from Singapore. Your data may be processed in the United States, the European Union, or other countries where our providers operate.
8. Changes
Material changes will be announced via @lorentz_ai or on this page.
